Expansive, edgy, and often windy, the city of Chicago is not only one of America's largest cities but also boasts a dense concentration of cultural sights to match its size with summer lake-based activity thrown in to seal the deal.
Along this trail, hikers can enjoy panoramic
views from Short Mountain Vista while
observing interesting geologic features on the
steep rocky slope above Iron Springs. This loop
also travels through open woods on the ridge
top and is an ideal day hike.
