Description

Anglers must not use more than 2 poles and each pole must not have more than 2 hooks or lures attached while fishing.

Largemouth Bass & Channel Catfish: 6 daily creel limit

Largemouth Bass: 15 minimum length.

A gravel road leading to the lake provides good all weather access.

An unimproved boat landing provides access to the lake. Fishing from small carry in boats fitted with electric motors is the preferred way to fish this lake.

Electric motors only.

Visualize an ancient Indian tribe passing through "One Horse Gap" a nearby narrow rock crevice that extends downward from the top of a sheer bluff near this 26-acre lake.

Basic Directions

Travel south from Harrisburg on Illinois Route 34/145 to Mitchellsville and continue on Illinois Route 34 toward Eichorn. Just before Eichorn turn west, traveling approximately 6 miles, on Forest Service Route 126, a gravel road leading to Leisure City and across the Grand Pierre Creek to One Horse Gap.
