Garden of the Gods is a landmark in Colorado Springs, a natural park area sprinkled with impressive red sandstone rock formations. Mountain bike riding in the Garden of the Gods an excellent way to take in the gorgeous scenery of these unique geological formations and get a little workout in as well.
The trails of Garden of the Gods are easy and perfect for beginner riders and up. The trail system has little elevation change, with only a few switchbacks on some short climbing sections. Almost 5 miles of trails are open to mountain bikers at this time. Riders should note that not all of the trails in this park are open to biking and the trails are well posted as to allowable uses.
