An unimproved boat launch provides boat access to the lake. Fishing from small carry in boats fitted with electric motors is the preferred way to fish this lake.

Travel north from Elizabethtown on Illinois Route 146 past the Elizabethtown Ranger Station to Forest Service Route 3. Head north on Forest Service Route 3, a paved road, approximately 3 miles to Forest Service Route 1736, a gravel road, leading to the lake.
